Palazzo Barberini: Caravaggio Exhibition

From March 7 to July 6, 2025, Caravaggio 2025 will take place at Palazzo Barberini as part of the Jubilee 2025 celebrations. This exhibition is organized by the National Galleries of Ancient Art and the Galleria Borghese, with support from various cultural bodies. The exhibition will showcase a significant collection of Caravaggio's works, featuring renowned masterpieces and rarely seen pieces. Highlights include the _Portrait of Maffeo Barberini_ and _Ecce Homo_, on view in Italy for the first time in centuries. Visitors can also see the three paintings commissioned by banker Ottavio Costa to be reunited. This event offers a unique chance to explore Caravaggio's artistic and cultural impact.
