Descrizione
Every Thursday, since 1987, the sound of the accordion and the zabumba can be heard at the Natal Tourism Center.
Forró with tourists is a show of typical forró pé de serra.
The xote, xaxado and baião also appear at the party and the repentista enchants everyone with his verses and rhymes.
Don't know how to dance? No problem! The dancers are there to help everyone take risks in the forró steps.
It's not worth sitting! The party is for everyone to dance and participate in the improvised square dance.
Forró takes place in the historic building, listed by the Historical Heritage called Centro de Turismo de Natal, which once hosted a city prison and today the old cells are occupied by various handicrafts and an art gallery.
During the show, some stores are open and the restaurant offers bar service and the best of regional and contemporary cuisine.
We'll learn what “Alavantu e anarriê” means during the dance and we'll admire the panoramic view of Natal's urban beaches straight from the restaurant's large windows.
