Montserrat Monastery and its Magic Mountain

Visiting Montserrat is already an adventure in itself. To enjoy the tour, we must meet at 8 am, as this tour itself lasts at least 6 hours, and there are three ways to get there:

The 1st option would be to rent private transport, Vans, Cars and Microbuses, depending on the size of the group;

2nd option, we take the train at Plaza España and go to the rack railway station that goes up Montserrat mountain;

3rd option, we take the same Train at Plaza España and get off at the Funicular station (cable car) and go up to the Mountain (be careful for those who suffer from vertigo or have problems with altitude).

There is a whole community of monks and officials living in the surrounding villages to better meet the large demand of visitors. There we will visit the Moreneta caves and the San Pedro cave.

The place is full of the most beautiful landscapes, with stunning views as far as the Pyrenees.

We will return to the Monastery in time to watch the Montserrat Boys' Choir.

There are crafts, food and drinks for sale on site. Depending on the time of year, a delicious lunch with typical regional food (self-service) may be included in the ticket.

There are so many places to visit in Montserrat and so much history to tell that by the end of the tour we will be filled with new thoughts and joy.
