Mount Vesuvius Tour with Wine Tasting

On this unforgettable tour, we’ll explore Mount Vesuvius, the famous volcano that destroyed the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum and which is now one of the most iconic tourist attractions in the Campania region. This is the perfect opportunity to admire the Bay of Naples from above and experience the scenery that has inspired artists over the centuries.

We will start by climbing the slopes of the volcano to a local restaurant with panoramic views of the bay. There, we will enjoy a typical lunch accompanied by a tasting of wines produced in the vineyards of Vesuvius itself. The region is famous for cultivating ancient grape varieties, producing unique wines such as Lacryma Christi and Caprettone, which express the identity and history of this territory.

After lunch, we will continue to the 1000 meters altitude. From there, we will hike to the top of the volcano to visit the crater, accompanied by a professional guide from the Vesuvius National Park. During the journey, we will have free time to explore the volcanic landscape and take impressive photos of the crater and the so-called “Giant’s Valley”, which separates Mount Somma (1133 m) from the cone of Vesuvius (1281 m).
