Description
Did you know that, according to various legends, the Incas arrived in Cusco and founded their empire in the distant lands of southern Peru?
Today, southern Cusco is a fertile valley where important archaeological sites such as Tipón and Piquillacta have survived over time. In addition, there are colonial architectural gems such as the church of San Pedro Apóstol, known as the 'Sistine Chapel of America' for its many paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries.
On this tour, we will visit these incredible destinations, as well as the Huasao Wetlands and the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas.
