Description
The Amazon region has a very large predominance of the rubber tree, the main raw material for the production of latex. Belterra was discovered as a region with fertile soil and favorable relief characteristics for the development and exploitation of the rubber tree. This aroused in Henry Ford the interest in founding a city to start the Ford Project, with the entire American structure set up in that region.
Route: Departure from the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle or in a regional vessel (depending on the tide) and visit the local communities and return to the hotel.
Main attractions: Belterra Shopping Center, Historic Center, Rubber Tree Museum, Monthly Village, American Village and panoramic tour of the city.
