Tour of the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve

On this tour we will see the lagoons that are located behind the snow-capped peak of Pichu Pichu, 120km from Arequipa. In addition to their natural beauty, not only in the area itself, there is a great spectacle: the snow-capped peaks that are reflected in the mirror of their waters.

In the reflections we will also see the presence of flamingos and pariguanas unique in their genus, it will be possible to see three species of pariguanas simultaneously (depending on the time and weather), which does not occur in the most famous "Flamingo Lakes" in Africa (Nakuru and Naivaska, in Kenya) where there are only two species. In this area there are numerous populations of auchenids especially llamas and alpacas.

We will also visit the salt flat, where we can take wonderful photos of the mountains and the reflection of the water, which creates an incredible effect. At the end of the tour, we will return to Arequipa with a stop to enjoy the typical food of the region.
