Beschreibung
This itinerary offers us a unique combination of cultural, historical and gastronomic experiences, allowing us to enjoy the beauties of the Itapagipe Peninsula. We will experience the spirituality of the Lord of Bonfim, discover the ingredients of Bahian cuisine at the São Joaquim fair and have a practical lesson on local cuisine.
Road map:
08:30 - Meeting at an established location;
08:40 - Departure by car to the Itapagipe peninsula, where we will pass by the edge of Ribeira, edge of Boa Viagem, Ponta de Humaitá and the church of Senhor do Bonfim (where we will stop for 20 minutes);
10:15 - We will head to Feira de São Joaquim where we will buy the ingredients for Moqueca. There we will meet the cook who will explain about Bahian cuisine and the history of the fair (where we will stay for 45 minutes);
11:15 – We will go to the kitchen where we will hold a quick and dynamic class on how to cook a traditional Bahian fish moqueca. In the kitchen, visitors will be welcomed with fruits and juices (duration of 50 minutes);
12:30 – We will serve lunch until 2pm;
2:00 pm – Leave the kitchen and return visitors to the agreed location.

This experience suits a group of 4 to 8 people;
For foreign groups, in addition to the gastronomic class, the experience also offers a Portuguese language class, all instruments and objects used are labeled in Portuguese and the procedures are explained in Portuguese and English. The goal is total cultural immersion in the experience;
Items included in the price of the experience: mineral water, coconut water, lunch (fish moqueca), 2 types of juice;
In case of allergies, notify the guide;
In case of a group of 5 people, it is possible to transfer from the hotel (arrange with a guide);
It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes early at the meeting point, in front of Mercado Modelo.
